Political Monitoring Assistant
Kirsty Fox Hay joined Camlas in January 2022 as a Political Monitoring Assistant.
From Cardiff, Kirsty went on to gain a first-class degree in Politics at Swansea University, where she interned in the Senedd with the former South Wales West MS Dr Dai Lloyd. During her undergraduate studies, Kirsty was secretary of the university’s Politics and International Relations Society and organised multiple events with speakers such as the Minister for Education and Welsh Language, Jeremy Miles MS.
Kirsty has also recently finished her MA at Swansea studying Development and Human Rights, completing her dissertation on the UK’s policies on preventing violence against women and girls.
Among Kirsty’s policy interests are equality, social issues, mental health, and human rights. Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys reading, visiting museums and attending festivals.
