Head of Monitoring & Political Consultant
Joe joined Camlas as a Political Consultant in August 2022, and was promoted to Head of Monitoring in June 2025.
Joe grew up in Monmouthshire and studied at Chepstow School before graduating with a degree in Politics from Cardiff University. Joe continued at Cardiff University, earning a Master’s degree in Politics and Public Policy. His dissertation focused on justice and devolution in Wales, exploring the case for, and possibility of, the devolution of justice through interviews with politicians from across the Welsh political spectrum.
Aside from justice, Joe also has a key interest in health, education and rural affairs policy. Outside of work, he enjoys playing 5-a-side football, attending live music events, and exploring the Welsh countryside.
