Specialist Consultant
Siobhan has over thirty years’ experience working in and around the NHS. She is currently a Visiting Professor in the Health Economics and Policy Research Unit at the University of South Wales.
Siobhan originally graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University and has postgraduate degrees from the Universities of Cardiff and Birmingham. Following graduation Siobhan joined the NHS General Management Training Scheme and worked for a number of years as a manager in NHS Wales.
Siobhan subsequently moved into higher education researching and teaching health policy, management and economics with a focus on Welsh health policy. She has worked providing research and policy consultancy to a wide range of statutory and third sector organisations across the UK and internationally, and as Head of Evidence for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Siobhan has served as Vice Chair of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board with responsibility for Primary and Mental Health services, Chair of the Emergency Ambulance Services Committee, a Non-Executive Director at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and a Trustee for Healthwatch Norfolk.
