Rhodri ab Owen is Managing Partner at Camlas alongside Naomi Williams and is also a Director. Having worked in public affairs in Wales since 2008 and has extensive experience and knowledge of the political scene and is an expert in elections and the devolutionary settlement. Rhodri provides expert advice to his clients on political strategies, issues management and leads public affairs programmes and campaigns that influence legislation and regulations. Rhodri’s clients range from big pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, GSK and Novartis to some of the most highly respected charities in the UK including BHF, Cancer Research UK and Age Cymru.
Born and raised in Cardiff, Rhodri graduated with a First Class Honours degree from Aberystwyth University, receiving the Professor J Mervin Williams Memorial award for the highest mark in Welsh Politics. Following this, he completed a postgraduate degree in Welsh Politics and Society.
A former Chair of Public Affairs Cymru, Rhodri is currently a school governor at Ysgol Pwll Coch and is a Trustee of many local charities.
